mel, i noticed when you reprint the stickers you continue to use sticker paper! i recommend you use plain paper to test out the colors so you dont waste any of your supplies (unless im seeing it all wrong and u ARE using regular printing paper loll) i hope this helps you save some money and wasted supplies from trial and error (smt i also experience a lot)!

ooh yes! I used regular paper at first to test it out then proceeded with the sticker paper :-) but the colors are slightly different still LOL 😭 it’s ok though I’ll have extras to send out as freebies!! :-) thank you kelly!! I definitely messed up before and always used sticker paper to test it out. 😅

Yea girl save up for a Cricut! It’s a life saver... or ask for it for your birthday and say you can chip in some money... or if you use cash to pay for things, save every $5 bill you get back as change... the Cricut is around $230 so you need around 46 $5 bills lol Edit: Also, go on amazon and buy a paper corner cutter. I just feel so bad that you have to cut everything by hand and I think it’ll save you from getting pain in your hands/wrists.

For scissors I like the Fiskars titanium non-stick precision ones. They’re super sharp and great for cutting sticker paper.

If you haven't gotten a cutting machine, the Silhouette is a much cheaper option and allows you to queue projects to be cut. Plus you can utilize more surface area of your sticker paper (less waste!) It does have a slight learning curve compared to the Cricut (I owned the Explore Air 2, Maker and now the Silhouette Cameo 4), but I love it. You can adjust the speed and it's just so much more efficient for someone who values time!

Love the vlog and beautiful illustrations! If you ever find cutting your own backing too tedious, you can buy chipboard - which is a firmer cardboard that comes in precut sizes, colors and weights. Keep up the great work~

Best scissors for fussy cutting stickers for me are the cutter bee 🤗 they are small yellow scissors, I buy mine at michaels with a coupon cause they’re pretty expensive (so worth) for a tiny scissor lol

hi juhi! my ipad is the 6th gen, i think it was the first regular ipad that allowed apple pencil! I bought it around 2018 i think. And my camera is the canon m50, while the drawing parts are filmed with my iphone xs :-) definitely check out the apple student discount if you're a student and looking to buy an ipad!

I know you got new scissors but I would totally recommend Westcott all-purpose scissors! They're really long and thin, not the small colorful ones that they have. I actually keep a pair in my car because they're really sharp! If you ever try them be VERY careful!! I touched the blade with my finger and it actually made me start bleeding that's how good they are.

@@smoleart Yay! it will change the way you manually cut your stickers! (I was actually getting mini heart attacks when you were cutting tiny stickers... Prior to getting a gyro-cut, I use tiny scissors so I can cut with precision.

Huhu! Your art is amazing. I have a question: What colour settings do you use to get the same colours on your prints, stickers etc. as on your ipad. I tried so much and struggled a lot haha.

Ooh the ones I found that work out for me is setting it as standard plain paper+ high quality + fine print. The matte option is always recommended for the paper I use but it always prints less vibrant! )-: I hope that helps!!

Also, on procreate they suggest you use the CMYK color settings for your canvas if it will be printed. Apparently it comes out true to color. It’s a new feature of the procreate 5 update.

small tip for cutting this cardboard. after cutting the front, just fold it a little bit. flip it and you see the crease on the back, cut there instead of the front again :) regards

How do you keep your prints so vibrant?? I recently got a pixma pro 100 and it doesn’t print that nicely :(

ooOh, it might have to do with the type of paper you use! I find that some print out more vibrant, and i had to play around with the print settings for a bit. I find that keeping it on the standard paper + high quality + fine print setting works well for this canon printer. i hope that helps!! :-)
