I never thought about putting that wick holder on after you pour the wax. Thanks for the idea.

Lol I feel like it’s easier for me! I’m a messy pourer so it definitely helps to put it on afterward 😊

Hi! I love your videos! I am starting with candles and Is so difficult for me to avoid the air bubbles. How you are avoiding that? Sometimes I feel I am getting mad! Thanks and I wish you a lot of luck 👍🏽
@marieharriet3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you so much 💕 I’m not sure if this will help, but I pour my 464 wax when it’s at 150 degrees.. depending on the container I will go over the top with the heat gun to make sure there aren’t air bubbles that I can’t see. If wax is still giving me trouble, I’ll pour half of the wax into the container and then I’ll let it cure, and then I’ll pour the 2nd half of the wax and that often gives me smoother results! But are lots of factors as to why you’re getting air bubbles so I’m not sure if this will help 😭 but good luck!!

Hey, I got a question for you? I’m planning to move my new candle business down to my garage? Do you think that if I do that, when the cold comes, would the cold damage my candles?

@marieharriet3 жыл бұрын
Oh no I’m sorry! I just tried to look right now but I honestly forgot which brand it was (my bf gifted it to me), but here are a lot of choices for them on Etsy! It’s basically an 18 lb presto pot wax melter.. www.etsy.com/search?q=18%20lb%20wax%20melter

Oh ok thank you!!! I wanted to try to make my own candles so I don't have to buy expensive ones outside which are not safe. I love watching you videos/blogs.

Instead of Avery printing the labels have you ever tried printing them out on your own label paper?? That’s what I do. I also buy from vistaprint as I found there prices better and all I need to do is order one sheet the scan it for future labels. I’m from Finley, NSW Australia. See my bio in “About section “ Edit: What brand and kind of soy wax do you use (example: EcoSoya CB135 or EcoSoya Q210 soy wax) And I use a mettle straw for my wicks also.. great minds think alike ☺️
@marieharriet3 жыл бұрын
omg hello in Australia!! yes so I buy the label paper from Avery and then print them at home :) I haven't compared label paper to anywhere else yet so I'm not sure which prices are best! I'll def take a look at vistaprint. I use Golden Brands 464 wax! I think most candle suppliers offer this. which wax do you use? the metal straw idea is genius!! I wish I started using that method since the beginning lol
