Making Crackling Wooden Wicks Soy Wax Candles. When burning a wooden wick, the wick produces a soft and relaxing crackling sound!
The wax shown in this video is Eco Soya CB-Advanced has been sadly discontinued and the business has closed down. I have several cases left so I am still using it, but I will have to reformulate eventually. I have been using the EcoSoya waxes for over 14 years and I find it very sad that they had to close down. NGI were true leaders in the soy wax industry.

So glad to hear someone actually be honest about how much work goes into making candles. I also make candles, and it annoys me how so many ppl think it's simply melting wax n adding scent... Chronic Butterfly yes! Or use containers that can be repurposed. Many of my customers keep their empty candle jars because they are perfect to store objects in them: jewelry, elastics, trombones, pencils, nails, etc!

Meya Good Meya they basically come around the same size Hun I just buy them and cut them to the desired size. Use two though when your making them they work much better.

I miss Ecosoya CB advanced. It was great to work with an all of my candles had great HT. I'm making candles a long long time....I never had luck with wooden wicks😣 Or EO... my wick would alwys get clogged. I'm strictly coconut now😃 Nice video. Love the jars & candles❤

It depends on the wax and fragrances you choose, so you will have to test that for yourself based on the manufacturers advice.

I loved this video I have been testing candle making and its really not as easy as it seems the testing that goes into each type of wax, fragrance, and wick combo is very time consuming and I still have issues trying to get a decent hot throw. I may try wood wicks to see if the hot throw would be better. Ty for sharing your knowledge :0)
