I personally do not mind the POV footage it was a cool change-up. My main suggestion would be you can do POV-specific videos in case people can't watch those. I know people with various visual impairments/ motion sickness disabilities who wouldn't be able to watch that section, unfortunately. In terms of this video, your POV mode disclaimer was perfect though if you want to work it into your regular content. You may want to just pop POV at the end of the title to let people know before they watch. In terms of switching between the POV mode and regular packing mode, I would do the POV shots more contained to individualized videos. Like make POV game-style specific packing vlogs. Or even POV packing live streams lol I'm more inclined to put that type of content on while I'm working on other stuff. Like those Work With Me/ Study With Me/Pomodoro-type videos! I actually love those, and your vlogs have been a happy medium for me liking those and having the talking and music addition to that type of content. Plus, your POV packing videos could just have music over it and you would have less work because you wouldn't have to do voiceovers if you didn't want to. Although, I enjoy your voiceovers and "GOODBYE!!"'s lol If you split them you'll be able to see how well they do too/ you can tap into a new KZbin Market and you won't have to add in the title or tag that it is a POV video every time just for the videos you use those in. Hopefully, my suggestion made sense in how I wrote it, my brain doesn't want to type properly today. 😂

I always worry when I see younger business owners get caught up in the packing supplies aesthetic. Remember all the packing supplies are going to get thrown in the trash. It’s a place in a business where so much money can get wasted. Maybe just use the pink boxes with some pink tape but not so many packed by stickers and separate bags inside. Packaging is a huge place to save some money that could be used on new products!

I used to work for Macy's warehouse. They had teams that did specific tasks. So, pick, pack, and replen. Your company is way smaller, but you might find it easier if you had one person pick the orders and two packs. Then, when the pack gets backed up, the third can help out. Also, maybe a bunch of small dollar baskets would be good for separate orders for faster packing. You'd just need to find storage for them.

Love the vlog as always. It’s nice to see how you guys organize your stock as you expand and how you pack orders. I’m excited for the ASMR of the crank tape dispenser in the future, too, which probably makes me a total weirdo☺️. My old job had those big expensive electric ones but they would jam ALL a the time so it made them less satisfying hehe (might have just been the brand that we had though which sadly I don’t remember). @ It might make more sense for you guys strictly for the less jam factor and the less noise factor for filming. But I will be honest it’s been a long time since I’ve used those gummed tapes at all. I say get a manual one with a good return policy just to be safe.

I think getting one of those mini store trolleys would help too, that way you have somewhere to set the tablet. You could put the mini baskets in it to represent individual orders. But I understand the floor space might not be so forgiving 😂. Wonderful video!

Hiya Catherine! I've got the same tape dispenser and hate it, looking for a replacement. Will be good to see what you choose and if you recommend it. It’s a bit harder to apply quickly as it gets kinks in it and looks scruffy but we’re looking at getting pastel pink katnipp branded water activated tape, it’s also better for the environment than clear plastic tape :) ❤

I remember them briefly mentioning something similar in a previous video. Pins were the example she talked about if I remember correctly. If the pre-packaged item sits on the shelf it would potentially ruin the packaging itself or even the item. Over time and exposure to the elements, the backing cards curled. Or they might potentially ruin the backing card of the one behind it. The pin would weigh it down and curl the bottom. It would also actually take up more space. The storage you get would have more space between each item and fill the boxes quicker. Again, that is mostly why they don't pre-package the pins specifically. I believe their office is by the water somewhat, so humidity and condensation could build up in the bags too.
