@@zachj2728 Oh thank you for that, much appreciated, my family told me that becoming filmmaker is very hard to get into and to try and be more realistic as I have learning disabilities and OCD and other mental and physical issues but I've always loved the behind the scenes on learning how how they make a film even though it's quite technical and complicated it just always gets me so interested and inspires me to one day do a course in cinematography or screenwriting with a helper that helps people with learning disabilities.

Hi, I want to ask, how big impact has cinematographer on the final film, is he deciding whichc camera movements will there be, is he deciding colours of the clothing of the protagonist, or is he just focused on lighining? Where the work of director ends and where work of director of photography starts?
@StudioBinder
@StudioBinder 3 жыл бұрын
On set, the work of the director and cinematographer is done together to create the shot. That would be everything from the lighting, moving the camera, lens choice, etc. The director is providing the vision on what the shot/scene is, and the cinematographer is making it happen.
@reptongeek

But then what about the cinematographer and the gaffer. Does the DP design the lighting scheme or is it the gaffer
