I gotta ask...how much of that was actually scripted, and how much was Matt just being Matt? I assume, the bit at the end would have to be scripted, but there's a lot of improv opportunity in the middle there. And on a random other note, that set design is impressive.

@rachelcookie321 Жыл бұрын
I don’t think some people realize how hard that is to do. He was able to show a whole conversation without having someone to talk to without the audience getting confused and the whole thing still felt very natural. Acting can be very hard without someone to work off of but he made it look so easy. There’s a reason you don’t see many one man shows, because it’s really hard to make them good with only one person. He did a great job.

Can we just appreciate how will Matt did in this? The facial expressions, the acting, the extremely well done improv! Amazing!

If anyone has ever wanted to pursue acting and wanted to know what a GOOD audition for a part looks like, (and really any audition) it's this. This right here. Nobody else there but you, but in that moment, THERE IS SOMEONE THERE, AND YOUR EMOTIONS ARE REAL, THE THINGS YOU'RE SAYING, THE THINGS YOU'RE DOING, THE THINGS THEY'RE DOING. THIS. How into it he was, that's acting. (But also yes, haha sketch, the dad coming in at the end and seeming like a genuinely nice fellow makes the ending even funnier)

Scott Sterling has such a strong head that he shook the very foundation of the entire house when he hit his head against the wall.

This is by far my favorite Studio C/JK Studios sketch! I demand a sequel where it's from the Dad's perspective!
