I think the funniest thing is that Carl, who absolutely detests his neighbors (hates even having them around him), just lets them come into his bomb shelter with him instead of leaving them outside to rot. And then I remember he's effectively inviting giant food items with him to ride out the apocalypse. Way to think of the long game, Carl (although Frylock seems to realize that first, lol)

Frylock is the only one of the 3 who's smart enough to hold a conversation with him and have a mutual understanding.
