I have a theory. The form you take in your mind after wearing the shirt is one that strokes your ego the most to keep you from trying to give the shirt up a lot sooner. For example when Carl was wearing it he must have taken the form as a muscular warrior as he depicted himself in the obviously made up story he told Shake but the demons that lived there were WAY stronger than him still. Making him try to pass the shirt to Shake, who believes he's a king or some Gourd Lord of the Interplanting Insanitarium now. And that is why he appears as a Beer Stein with a crown on him. As for the man, he doesn't seem to have much personality...not even much of an ego.. what ego is there to satisfy into making him stay? 🤔 So he gets to keep his original form and get all the Japanese tentacles he wants ;)

Smithed from iron ore, crafted from liquid magma by one of the three demons in the mind of a volcano. Demon name his name was... ah.. Uno and his brothers was named yat-zee and boggle. They were selected to guard the shirt with their lives.. from me. You know at that time there wasn't such a thing as a shirt. But we liked it that way because it let me showcase my lats, my traps and plus the women.. I mean.. I rolled up the volcano in my mythical one eyed wonder worm. So yat-zee looks up and he comes at me with a bass solo. Oh man shouldn't have done that because I ripped the axe from his clawed fingers and I swiftly beheaded him. All this and I still continued the bass solo. Movin pictures maybe it was yyz i donno but i didn't miss a note I know that. Boggle looks up at me from his drum kit and he goes "You don't kill my brudda" So then Uno sees this and tries to bring the thunder. I got my junk ready full on. And reflects the thunder back at him. And it explodes his face and melts it off. 1000 years have passed and it is now time for me to pass this down to a new warrior king. Who will rule metal mountain as the mighty god, OF ROCK.

I think I am going to use this episode as inspiration for a campaign I'll call "The Interplanetary Insanitarium". All I got to do is dump the party through a portal and tell them they find themselves on another planet far off in space. There they can be arrested by the local demons that rule there and throw them in the Insanitarium. Can they break out and escape back to their home planet? The entire theme will be metal. I'll probably steal a bunch of Metal music to play while the game is running. Lord I'm horny.
