King only really took the credit of a few of Saitama's hero work, and people probably just assumed that he was responsible for some others. Though he is more known as a hero who scares his opponents into submission more than anything due to his scary appearance and loud nervous heartbeat.

@@deeegeeekay he never liked villains nor heroes. He always considered him as a monster. Plus i mean we do not look at the motif of these antagonists. Aizen wanted power and he needes to replace the soul king and rule soul society and he killed many people to achieve that (failes but still), di wanted to kill all the joe stars out of spite, madara wanted peace by creating tsukyomi. Literally their motifs are plain and simple but their execution and the events they go through are the things that make them stand out from the rest. I mean even garou from a mere mortal TO the guy who got cosmic powets from god himself. Garou wanted to become the fairytale like monster that everyone fears so that they are forced to unite against him to survive (both heroes and villains ) . By doing so, he aspires to end conflict and war and achieve world peace. Imo he's def ONE of the greatest antagonists.

@@gokulumenon3330 I definitely disagree. Sure some villains have simple motifs like the ones you named, but I don’t consider them to be the greatest antagonists either. The writing in this show is simply too bad to create a character that’s “the greatest”. Meruem, Light, and Eren had a similar motif to Garou, but they’re light years ahead in terms of a great antagonist because of how their character was made and written. Garou’s motivations stemmed from thin air basically, there was nothing in his life that should’ve influenced him to do as much as he did, unlike the ones I named

The only reason the CGI looks weird is because they were forced to make season 2 in a hurry with bad budget and because of bad scheduling that one Animator basically carried the the animation.

Fun fact one of the reasons why madhouse(season 1 animation studio) looks so good is because the lead animator had strong links to some of the biggest animators in the industry. He then moved on to create another studio called mappa, you may have heard of it idk

Fun fact about the monster bird. In the manga last page its shows a kid hearing about a monster bird in the area and is scared. Her father said to close the curtain and turn of the lights because birds are attracted to shiny things (like coins). Then its shows Saitamas shiny head then boom the bird hit Kings apartment. So it was Saitamas fault.

You know why One Punch Man feels different compared to shows like Chainsaw man or Demon Slayer? Bcuz it's a different genre. Chainsaw man and Demon Slayer are categorize as Shonen, while One Punch Man is Seinen. Plus the whole idea of the story is really unique as well. OPM is a clever work.

One Punch Man is my absute favourite anime... On the surface it's a comedy/parody anime... But for someone like me who dealt with depression and absolute lack of motivation troughout my life.. Saitama for me is what Superman was to post ww2 people ... I can relate to him on a deep level and seeing his struggles while on the outside it looks like he is so well of , hits deep for me... Because it's hard to catch how depression looks like from the outside but I think Saitama is the perfect representation for today's generation

Honestly i didn't even notice that much of a difference in animation until i saw other people comments about it. Its not that bad at all, its just that Season 1 set a huge standard in terms of animation quality that it was quite literally impossible to carry through that same quality to the next season especially with JC staff and as good as the trailer looks for S3 we wont be getting S1 animation at all and i'd very much like to be proven wrong on that.

If you guys like hip hop, particularly oldschool / Lofi style stuff, and samurai, yall should really check out Samurai Champloo. Its by the same guy that wrote Cowboy Bebop. The characters, music, and the VIBES of that series are top tier. And the dub is genuinely amazing. I say that as someone who watches almost exclusively subs. It's true there was a noticeable drop-off in animation quality, but this season makes up for it in plot and a great antagonist. Also, one of the best fights of the series in terms of choreography. Here's hoping JC gets more time with season 3 to surpass season 2's quality. The manga is freaking WILD.

Season 2 is better cry hard some haters animation isn't everything the reason season 2 has weird CGI is because the team was forced to make this season quickly and basically one Animator carried, even than the animation isn't bad I've seen worse animation yet those Anime aren't considered bad yet if it's Opm it's back, people praise Madhouse when it's the excellent team which made season 1 animation great you know blame Madhouse for letting the team go it's their fault.

I also did think the animation looked a bit odd but after you get into the storyline, you barely even notice it anymore.
