Got this explanation about the hexgates line from Cait on Reddit: It was Cait essentially admitting she let Jinx go. She had called all the guards away knowing vi was going to break jinx out, so she wouldn’t get caught doing so and so Jinx could go free. Hence the line to Vi “you’re getting predictable”. It’s her way of showing vi that she’s moved past her hatred for jinx and that her feelings for vi matter more.

The wild thing is that I saw like a kind of interview (watch party on another reactors channel) of Amanda Overton, one of the writers for the show, and she said they had finished the writing of this before even the first episode was ever aired. So while this does seem like soooo much bigger in terms of the scale of the story, cause I will have to agree all those years expecting season 2, I never did expect this to expand so much even knowing stuff about Leagues lore, but it seems this was their plan from the beginning

The first season of Arcane to some extent feels realistic and an animated series with a very good story, but this second season is more League of Legends than the last, and the fantastic things Viktor can do pale in comparison to what other heroes they can do. . . . Champions more magical or mythological than him, if they saw the stories of other champions they would see that Viktor only touched divinity with his fingers but would still be unable to compare himself to certain beings in the game.

I can only tell you what I know from the already existing lore in the game, but that is really vague for every character tbh and the culmination of it all is what Riot is trying to convey in an understandable manner and even then maybe they explain things different to what we understand. I don't remember the rules and laws around the life of Yordles and if they keep their state of mind/mental or if it's a respawn from scratch or if their body just respawns in bandle city in the state it was in right before they die. That's 100% something we can expect to be explained at one point or another
