First time I heard this I thought "man that's just beautiful," but after following along with Elan's phrasing and transcribing- it's a master class. I listened to it a dozen times and picked up a new grace note or another inflection or syncopation that I missed every time through. It's all so smooth and effortlessly played. Great track!

Hi, tried to send you an email, but it bounced back. I am learning sax and discovered this number with Elan Trotman playing "Oh Happy Day". Have you ever considered releasing the track as a backing track, ie: without the sax ? This could be a great resource for learning sax players to play along with, I think. I have searched far and wide and have not come across a better recording, in my humble opinion.

He is playing in G but because he has a 6 string bass with a low b string. It looks like he is playing in C but with a low B string the second string is the E string so he is playing in G.
