This is the best demostration that I ever see for a piano, this pianist is a master player! Wow! I enjoyed a lot! Thanks Sweetwater!

Tremendous video, thank you, I really like the Numa Compact 2X as a stage keyboard. I would just like to know if the Numa Compact 2X can control DAW like Ableton Live? Thanks in advance

I had the opportunity to put my fingers on this keyboard and I was disappointed as the key action quiet short comparing to other synth or piano keys. I mean, by pressing the keys they stop half way a normal synth or piano keyboard. I was in a shop testing this along with many others and so I could really tell the enormous difference. And by the way for what it was it felt more semi weighted than synth action.

Thanks for the information. Yeah, my Juno DS has that short travel issue as well.

I have that same piano, and I love it. (I would be better served if I could play anywhere close to Chris' ability). It sounds great as background keyboards directly into the board/daw for recording in my studio.. That is what I got for...It is not so impressive amplified in band mixes, but then again, I didn't buy it for live performances...the keyboard action/feel is exceptional. It is worth worth every penny as long as you pick the right application.
@charmyseul4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm considering purchasing this model. You said it is worth every penny as long as you pick the right application. What do you mean by this? Do you mean DAW?
@davidmccann77724 жыл бұрын
@@charmyseul It's great direct to the DAW. It's not all that great highly amplified in the band setting, nor would it be ideal as the featured instrument in the mix. For recording and quiet mixes, it is perfect (for me). Given the opportunity for post recording 'polishing' , you can't go wrong (again, in my opinion) The keyboard is as responsive as I could find for the price, and might be better than some costing much more. I hope I have helped.

Would this be a good choice for someone needing something as compact / lightweight as possible?
@sweetwater5 жыл бұрын
Hello! At 15 lbs., this Numa Compact is one of the most lightweight and portable 88 key pianos on the market. They are well built and sound amazingly good for the money, so I think this would be a great choice. If you'd like to go into more detail, please call my number below. Thanks for your interest! I bought a Roland FP-40 cause it seemed to have a better piano-like action than this one. But I'm now thinking it might have been a mistake because I'm feeling the keys inertia while playing. I'm just starting learning to make some music for fun. I'd like to learn enough technique to play a real piano hence why I choose the Roland. But I'm starting to wonder if that was really necessary. Should I stick to the heavier Roland key-action till my fingers strengthen up or should I replace the Roland with something with lighter keys such as this one (which I guess is less challenging to start with)? What do people think?

I am struggling a little bit with the Numa about this: I am getting double notes in the Daw when recording MIDI. I know it has something to be with the MIDI zones in the Keyboard. At turning the keyboard on, and going to ZONE EDIT, there is always on zone for channel 2 and the other for channel 1. When I set them both to channel 1, I get correct MIDi recording. But I can not store this mode and I have to do it everytime I turn on the Keyboard! Is there any way to leave this fixed?. I just want a normal classic MIDi keyboard to play and I assume this keyboard has it!. Thank you for your help.

how can you call up sounds off a laptop with this keyboard (program changes on the fly)?
@sweetwater5 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your interest! The exact procedure depends on what software you're using, but you can set up the Numa Compact 2 to send Program Change messages over MIDI to your computer. Feel free to contact me directly and I'll be glad to go into more detail! Caleb Lowrey, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1620, caleb_lowrey@sweetwater.com

Does anyone know what it feels like to play on this keyboard? Never played on semi weighted keys before! :)
@eddyvideostar6 жыл бұрын
That's difficult to relate to someone. If you are into different genres, it should be viable. Instruments as the organ, Fender Rhodes, harpsichord, synth, do not need fully weighted keys.

@sweetwater6 жыл бұрын
Hello, Michael! Yes, in addition to using it as a stage piano for its excellent onboard sounds, you can connect it via 5-pin MIDI to a sound module, or via USB to a computer, and it will work as a MIDI controller. www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/NumaCom2--studiologic-numa-compact-2-88-key-stage-piano Thanks!
