SK has a very active independent alternative ambient/rock/punk scene that was already in place before SM launched H.O.T and S.E.S in the middle of the 1st generation , Cotoba coming from a long line of talented bands based in that very same Hongdae scene.

I think because music is really valued in society. Like sooo many kids learn piano and violin starting from an early age. In America, where im from, music is barely prioritized. I think when ppl learn music at an early age it helps getting into making bands and such, even if they don't play violin or piano in the band

밑에도 다른분이 언급하셨는데 센터에 드럼과 베이스분이 계시고 양 사이드로 보컬과 기타가 있네요. 저도 왜 밴드는 항상 보컬을 프론트맨,프론트우먼이라며 센터에 내세울까 의문이었습니다. 물론 보컬이 눈에 띄는 역할이지만 무대연출을 어떻게 하느냐에 따라 개성있게 바꿀 수 있다고 생각합니다. 그래서 저는 모든 세션이 평등하다는 의미로 한줄정렬로 연주하는 것도 생각해 본 적이 있는데 아무래도 장비나 기타여건 때문에 쉽지는 않겠죠. 가장 중요한 세션이지만 비교적 덜 알아주는 베이스와 드럼이 센터에 있어서 보기 좋았습니다. 좋은 밴드 알게되서 더 들으러 갑니다.

Cotoba means "word" in Japanese. These guys are definitely japanese inspired. They sound sooo much like Tricot. the song intro sounds exactly like Anamein from Tricot
