@@MattHepworth only thing that it did that was kind of weird is that my project doubled size from 9 GB to 18 GB when I the tracks in place but if I unfreeze them, it will go back to 9 GB? I never have this large of a file for a typical song.

@@GeorgeAmodei21 That makes sense to an extent. Freezing creates a duplicate of the track's wav file with the effects applied. That's on the larger side, but not crazy large.

@@MattHepworth it double my File Size from 9.50 > 19.0 ~ approx. Yet if I unfreeze the goes back to regular size but then I’m over LIMITS W/ DSP. I DONT BAKE my shit it. I have hard time committing. 😜but that’s how it was done all these years right. ( back in the day ) thx again George ☺️🙏

I just tried this and the DSP level remained the same (92% before and after). Any idea why? Trying to add another UAD plugin in my mix and it won't let me due to the DSP issue. Tried freezing a few tracks with a lot of plugins on them and that didn't seem to work at all.

Not all plugins support partial allocation. All Channel Strips do.
