I’m not going to lie, this is one of the best videos so far that, when you listen & watch the whole video, and apply it, it really works. In Maximus you have to ability to control the lows, mids, and highs. He’s giving information that many producers are selfish and don’t want to release.

@henos52034 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, when you mix and master, do you keep your overall computer volume on max? Eg: an Hp laptop can go to 100 as the maximum volume. Or do you turn it down? And if u turn it down, how much do you turn it down?
@farraribeats4 жыл бұрын
@@henos5203 I lower all the faders on all my tracks and turn the volume up very high on my interface and slowly raise the faders to a good level. And then when I turn my audio interface down the whole beat sounds quiet but then I just cut the lows and highs on the master channel and then do the maximus trick in this video and instead of using the maximus post gain I use a separate limiter such as ozone 8 maximizer to raise the volume up high. Oh yeah and and when I start to use maximus I keep the volume of my interface almost max to hear things clearly and then when I add the limiter I turn the volume of the interface low and try to get it to sound loud without getting that distorted sound. Hope this helps.

Holy shit I didn't know that Maximus allows you to crank up the volume that much without causing any significant clipping. with any other plug-in, you can only go as high as +2 or +3 decibels without causing intense damage to the sound or creating new, harsh frequencies. Amazing. This way you can leave enough room in the mix and still get it loud enough. Legitimately best video I've ever seen on producing, insane.
