She has thin hair and I think the tension from the clip ins when you curl it pulls her hair follicles that’s why she’s holding it. I don’t think it’s because she’s extra tender headed. It came out beautiful per usual and this was really relaxing to watch.

Yes they will slide. I wear them often to make my hair appear thicker. The same length as my hair and they will slide if I do not tease my roots. Whether blow dried or straightened.

This is the texture of my hair when its straight ( but its super thick) and I wear clip ins as well. She appears to holding them to keep them from slipping out and pulling on her real hair while the stylist is pulling with the flat iron... back comb the root a bit, spray with hairspray and then apply the clip ins or twist a bit of hair and attach each clip and they wont slide.. I precurl my extensions before clipping them in

She's holding it because the clip-ins slide and pull at the root when you pull/curl on them. It's like when you're getting braids and the braider is pulling the root a little as they braid your hair. Usually people will just hold it to give more security and less pain.

Because they pull the natural hair the combs from the clip ins cause tension on her real hair and pull her hair when you tug the flat iron down I do the same when I get my hair braided in Harlem my hair is Long and THICK and they yank your hair some of them don’t even have edges Nah not my hair I will never sacrifice my real hair for some extensions or braids you will see girls doing this A lot in NYC
