Looks great, as usual. I always wondered if the hair could be reused after a quick weave since the glue residue and remover may still be on the wefts? I have heard other hairstylists say that the hair cannot be reused because of that.

it really is a personal preference.. some do, some don't... I know how to clean the glue from off the wefts.. I don't see why someone would throw perfectly good hair away just because it's glue on the weft.

@@Shalayah2010 Hmmm, ok. I suppose you are right. I did a quick weave many years ago. The hairstylist told me that the hair couldn't be reused because of the glue and oil residue that would remain on the weft after the style was was taken down. So, she said that if I wanted to do a quick weave which is only a short temporary hair style, I should not use expensive hair. I was thinking that the glue could be removed too, and I asked, but she said that the oil residue (which would be significant) would interfere with the tracks adhering, since the oil residue wouldn't all come out.

Butterscotchchick girl, all you gotta do it pick as much glue off as possible and then wash the oils off the hair with a true clarifying shampoo.. but I do agree with her by using cheap hair for a quick weave, absolutely... but if the hair is expensive, I don’t see the harm in trying to salvage it.

How come my quick weaves never last? My girlfriend gets hers done and it lasts a month...mine only two weeks. I've even seen people wash them and the last.
