Man I must say, that watching your painting from the beginning…you’ve made the eye come to life unlike I’ve ever seen!!! I’m getting ready to paint my very first canvas & although I’m somewhat good at drawing, ✍️ watching you paint has made me lose faith in myself 😂 Hopefully I’ll become good as you one day. I just wanna say how much this video helped me paint more realistic eyes. I got some sketch pads, added gesso to pages, and began painting away. By the end of my sketch book I got quicker and able to paint eyes smaller. Thank you

THIS is the THE best tutorial vid out there! Thank you so much for posting this! Do you have advice for how to use these techniques when the painting size is much smaller and there's not enough a lot of space to do up-closes of the eyes? I find it challenging sometimes to capture the dynamism in details when they're on a much smaller scale. Thank you!!

Painting an eye as large as this demonstration is much easier than painting a human eye “life size” Show painting human eye with all that detail life size!
