Study in FRANCE in 2024 for Indian students - 5 year post-study work visa??

Hey Murrad, I'm sure this video is going to help a lot of Indian students planning to study abroad. I just would like to point out that the cost of living in Paris and Lyon too can not be as high as you mentioned (1200-1800 euros) as a student. In Paris alone, one can easily live a good comfortable life with approx monthly expenses of 1000 euros (sometimes even less if you live in the suburbs and travel to the city centre for school). There are several benefits that students get here such as the housing aid (CAF/APL), Pass Navigo subsidised transport rates within Paris and the suburbs, Amelie and so much more. There is also a very important scholarship and I'm surprised it was not on the list and that is the Charpak Scholarship which is run by the French embassy in India. This is not restricted to sciences and tech students but is open for others going for Masters or even bachelors. As someone who studied luxury management here, I agree with you that France could be a good choice for design and luxury enthusiasts. However, students coming here should please learn French in order to get better internship and job opportunities. School programs may be designed in English but places of work, require you to speak French.

The 5 year visa is not post study visa. It was a misunderstanding. The 5 year visa that students get after the PSW is actually for a stay of 90 days every year for 5 years.

for public universities no you do not have any courses in english they are in french for bachelors in masters there are very few courses in english in public universities but in private ones like American University of Paris you will get English courses but fees will be very high as it is a private institute. There are other schools too but most english courses at undegrad level are for management, business and engieneering.

You can do it for just 170 euros in public universities but you need to know atleast B2 level french and working part time in France is enough to cover all you expenses if you are not living in Paris, Lyon, Marseille or any other big city. the rent is very high there
