Hi Anne, your videos are so insightful. Thank you so much for making the videos. I had this question, I hope you see the comment and fine some time to answer it or make a video about it in future. Berea is tuition free, yes. But how much money did you have to spend on those four years of study during your study? I mean for the housing, living cost and etc. I am from a third world country and I am looking into higher education abroad and am budgeting according to this information. Thank you beforehand. Hi Shirazum, thank you so much for watching. Berea is tuition free from every angle. They have a work program where students are required to work on campus, they cover housing and food is free. The only costs for internationals students will be tax payment to the american government on scholarship grants. But you will pay through your work income

Hey Anne, thanks so much for this video… So I started my application to Berea, but there’s a part in the application that’s asks for in progress course work and completed course work, I filled in my university course work because I’m currently in my second year in uni and I’ve left high school since 2019. Does it mean I’m going to have to take off those course works I filled in? And put in just my high school course work that I’ve completed? Cause I obviously don’t have an in progress high school course work.. Also, from what you said does it also mean that even though I’ve gone through two years in uni, I’m still going to start as a freshman in Berea?

H Tjay, the issue of international student transfer is a hard one. I would advice you call the school to get their opinion on this. They do have an option to apply as international transfer. Watch my video today on the section with coursework

Test is needed for all internationals, only optional for domestic. DuoLingo is easy, more affordable and you can take from anywhere as long as you have a computer
