Young Muslims is a pioneering national youth organization that has been on the youth scene since the early 90's. We have established a well organized network of local youth groups that we call NeighborNets (which means network of neighbors) across the United States and Canada. Each NeighborNet is a dynamic youth group which attempts to build a solid understanding of the principles of Islam amongst its members by helping them put these principles into practice. By providing the youth with an Islamic atmosphere where they can form bonds of brotherhood with their peers, they become comfortable with Islam and its teachings. We stress the importance of knowing, understanding, and fulfilling our individual and collective obligations as Muslims.

@@Shiroyashasama Actually, no. He is in no way wrong. He, like a month or two back, made a video in which he answered all confusions regarding the lgbt issues. Omar Sulaiman in no way supports that group. And please be careful before typing something like that, it could mislead some people.

Learn from the real scholars people, not from Fulaan who has PhD from this university in that place etc. Look at those who have spent their lives studying under scholars, real scholars who preach only from the Qur'an and Sunnah upon the understanding of the companions and the following 2 generations. Leave off extremism in going overboard with the religion, and even those who water down the religion are extreme in their views. Follow a balanced path and be careful for we have da'ees that appear to be calling to the deen, but in reality they are standing outside the gates of Jahannam and calling to that. May Allah protect us. Ameen.

I agree with Ust. Nouman. We can learn here in the U.S what we can learn overseas especially for the first couple years. Also my wife will never let me study overseas!

U cannot have have good feelings while being miserable but you can, on the other hand, be very happy and content while in hardship.

If your aqueeda is not properly clean, you have no islam and you have nothing to serve with. If tour arabic is not at high level, you cannot understand the Quran nor the hadith not have anything to serve. All of these you cannot find them in the west. PR talks don't make you a good Muslim.

I dont agree. If you want to study Islam, go where you have the proper sources. For example, Siraj Wahhaj is an NOI supporting fool and Sheikh Ahmed Musa Jibril is a teacher of haqq.

Asalamu alikum, I had a question regarding women's education in islam, I'm 17 year old Indian girl living in Saudi Arabia who wants to study accounting in Australia as there aren't many resources where I live and neither can i go back to India. I'll be living with my maternal uncle if I go to Australia in shaa Allah. Is it allowed for me to study like so? Plz help....

I'm studying islamic studies. but if you want to study Accounting here, it is quite a common degree. i can think of around 3 to 4 institutions (and i haven't actually looked, there are probably plenty more) that offer a bachelor of accounting. if you can not do a bachelor due to your marks there are ways. i live in Victoria (where melbourne is) and we have a website for students who want to study any course, they can look it up. here is a link: delta.vtac.edu.au/CourseSearch/searchguide.htm
