Just because Mori said to leave a comment, and I'm so easily bullied, I guess I'll leave one. Of course, it was another great video. Did anyone expect anything less? There are many, many KZbin channels that try to teach Japanese, but very few that show you how to learn Japanese, and Mori fills that spot quite well. I may joke about her panda obsession a tiny, tiny bit, but it's only because she makes her viewers feel comfortable and welcome. I wish I would have started learning Japanese when I was younger. If I had, I would have been tempted to move to Japan to pursue my dream job. That being, to be the one non-Japanese person you see in the crowd scenes in Japanese commercials. I studied theater in college....many, many years ago. My goal would have been to break through that commercial glass ceiling and be cast to bite or sip something, open my eyes really wide with a surprised look on my face and say, "Oishii!!". After watching a lot of Japanese commercials, I'm convinced there are professional Japanese actors who make a career out of that. If you're white and ever wondered how it feels to be a minority, watch Japanese commercials, and eventually you'll see a non-Japanese person in one. It doesn't matter if they're white, black, hispanic or whatever, you'll get excited and think, "Look, look, there's a non-Japanese person, just like me". You'll be so proud. Ok, it may not totally show you what it feels like to be a minority, but it will give you a little taste of what it's like, and that's not a bad thing. :)

I feel the same way. Now I'm 28 and never pursued my dream to move to Japan and I feel like I'm too old now with no options to go there anymore. ;_;

@@surrenderinghope Ann, let this old guy let you in on a secret. When you turn 38 you're going to look back and realize that 28 wasn't too old, but 38 is. When you turn 48 you're going to feel the same way about 38. Whatever age you are, you're always going to feel you're too old. and you're always going to feel that you were very wrong for thinking that way 10 years earlier. The only time you'll be right about being too old is when you have oatmeal dripping down your chin and some poor soul is assigned to give you sponge baths. Look at it this way, take every day you've been on this earth, since the day you were born, all the good times, all the bad times, every experience you've had, and every day you've forgotten, then double it. You would still be younger than Madonna. That's how not too old you are. :) I say, if it really is your dream, go for it and send me a postcard.

ありがとうございまし！ Videos like this are so inspirational. I've been learning Japanese for approx 4-5 months, but it feels like my progress is slow due to inconsistency. I'm getting better at discipline and finding new ways to motivate myself but I'm still working on it. I can read and write both Hiragana and Katakana, I know 22 Kanji and I am learning vocab and grammar. (I'm 13 so I still have plenty of time) ❤

I loved the video! I’ve been studying Japanese for one month now, and I fell in love with the language. Remembering vocab is definitely the hardest for me right now, though I suspect that as the grammar gets harder it will replace that. Kanji has been really fun for me as I’m a very visual learner! I like to remember the meaning by making little stories about the characters. Love the video, definitely subscribing!

Ah, I'm jealous of living there. I am trying to learn a language, but I cannot build sentences very well and it is difficult for me to learn the words ✋😩

@@sandraochnik1676 Learn the words, If you can't memorize them well, try to bring the words in your daily conversation (or if you talk to yourself sometimes). You don't have to say the entire sentence. Once you can use a few words, learn the particles and practice the grammar. Watch Conversation videos that speak slowly or find someone from discord/fb etc, You can ask and practice sentences from. Once you bring them to your conversations, you've mastered one step. Don't do it all at once, try to do it slowly but make sure you understand what you're saying. Good Luck!

As of living there, there are many scholarships that fund you for studying in Japan. Also, if you have enough money, you can just directly go there :)

I can suggest u one thing....instead of writing one character again and again the same time....write it with time intervals....like write the kanji 5 times at morning, afternoon and evening....instead of writing it 15 times at once

1:05 Me: * analyzing the stickers*: There is 7 stickers... 4 stickers that look like BT21 characters (Coya, Cooky, Chimmy, and RJ)... and a cat is for Yoongi apparently, the bear is for V, and the panda... I don't know, but It thinks it's for J-hope apparently. They are very cute, anyways. Sorry for that, it just made me remember BT21 characters x) I'm new to your channel.
