Yeh its not actually like this. Its far more awkward to get the keys as the housing office as they aren't open on Sundays. Rooms also don't have curtains in some places. And my buddy wasn't so nice, there was 10 of us in his group and I was kicked out of it after a week. The Nations system is weird, you can't really bring guests (ok you can buy a guest card but awkward) and the music often isn't great. For sports and courses like International Relations Uppsala is not the right uni, but for science, research intensive courses and if you aren't a huge drinker/partier it will suit you

When I bought my bike and paid in cash (as we germans usually do) the vendor was not amused. Use a credit card or some other digital payment method instead. The swedes prefer it trhat way.
