Hey! I’m from Norway, lived here life long. Here most foreigner settle is first Pakistani next is tamils from Sri Lanka. I’m tamil and I lived here life long. I did take some studies from Uppsala and also here I love Oslo Blindern university. Dear Sweden is cheapest food outside in whole Scandinavian country. Vi from Oslo drive to Sweden border to Svinesund to buy food and store in freezer. From Oslo to Sweden border is about 1,5 hours driving, I come there often to buy many things. Many Swedish work in Norway cause more salary here a lot and they buy food from Sweden, after some year they go back to Sweden and settle. I’m pharmacist and also chief doctor. So I work with many Swedish. I’m happy ur giving information to others. Plz when ur there go around Scandinavia I mean like Norway, Denmark easy to travel and I think student visa I think u can. I did help many if anyone want to know about international Norwegian language courses I can help

Thanks, man I have a few queries: firstly, how much is the average rent for a place close to the university (no sharing, one room, and kitchen); secondly, regarding the part-time work, how many minimum hours a person has to work, is there any such criteria?; thirdly, do you see northern lights from Uppsala? and; lastly, Can we ride roller skates at Uppsala for travelling at least during summer?

It is really not a sure thing whether you will get. IT jobs are pretty prevalent here. But recently the job market from my opinion is accommodating lot of foreign expats!.

@@farhanalix I have a experience as a business developer. But its OK if I get normal jobs like in store or some where as a helper. So can we get there normal jobs to survive.

@@salesforcejungle Language is a barrier, and getting those jobs are also not easy. Here the pay system is really well organised, so more or less any job will pay in good proportions (compared to India).
