Professor, McAllister has introduced me with the strategy. It has helped me. After the lecture, I always write down things that I remember. I am sure this strategy can be applied not only for lectures but also for conferences, meeting, or after listening podcasts. Fitness for the brain! Thank you, professor, for sharing this with all of us!

Do you believe subjects should be studied in a week alone and the next subject on its own week? Of course I’m just giving an example For teas people need or should study more than 4 weeks. I have adhd so I have Poor concentration. Do you have any suggestions in regards to organizing and studying the categories under any of the subjects :reading, math, English or science for the teas exam. I want to test in June and I have been studying but apparently disposing it .

Students who have ADD/ADHD would most likely benefit from focusing on one subject at a time. One effective way for most students to study is to first take a practice test; this works particularly well for Math and Science. Determine your areas of need by examining the practice test results, and zero in on your errors. For example, if you miss several word problems, first review how to solve word problems. Regardless of the subject you are reviewing/studying, be sure to TAKE NOTES. It is not enough to simply view a video or skim someone else's notes. Unless you create a product (take notes), you are not studying. Another consideration: Everyone has their "best time of the day." Studying will be more productive if you determine what YOUR best time of the day is - are you a morning person? Night owl? Lastly, if you have an official diagnosis of ADHD, you will most likely qualify for accommodations, which will allow you extra time. Get a doctor's note, and then find out how to request accommodations on the TEAS. Good luck!
