i had such a similar testimony to you where i was partying and drinking but then reading my Bible and going to church. i never felt fully connected with God because i was choosing to live in sin. and it wasn't until i surrendered these things and stopped doing them was when i finally felt the Holy Spirit and saw Him change my life.

When the pastors at my church talk about John they say once Jesus showed up John was like "less of me more of him." And they tell us we should be like that also. 41:32

I miss going to church, if we want to eat and pay bills it seems our wk and wkends are spent working. It's feast or famine. It will be good to be able to slow down. I'm thankful for the jobs God has allowed us to have. I'm thankful for your Bible study

John 3:5 means to be reborn again to be committed to God-Baptism is what you do to be born of water and the spirit- at least I think that's what it means-my understanding anyways. And your daughter is the cutest

I have been told that Jesus said to Mary woman because he was referring to Eve. Eve did not get her name until she sinned, before that she was called woman. Eve is our earthly mother and Mary is our heavenly mother.

Read it in context. Jesus literally says (John 3:9) UNLESS one is BORN OF WATER (fully submerged in water) & the spirit (which is a gift we receive at our baptism to help guide us) He CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. “Be born of water” is literally being submerged into water. An act of receiving Gods kingdom. What people “think” is irrelevant what God says is relevant and true. Please do not lead people astray Do what the word says to do. take it at face value and try to avoid picking it apart and analyzing it to your demise. The road is narrow and hard.
