That Georgia beatdown of Oregon is looking even more impressive after what Oregon did to BYU yesterday. Bowers looks like a more athletic Gronk. He was ready for the NFL after his freshman season.

I’m a third year at UGA and have spent the last decade watching in pain. It makes me so happy to see our offense reinvent itself. Everyone noticing the great blocking that makes our plays possible? Thank George Pickens for making it so obvious for the young guys that throwing a corner into the ground is pretty fun. Never would’ve seen Stetsons transformation coming but I was soooooo hype for the version of Brock Bowers with one off season with Kirby’s training. Also Todd Monken and Kirby went into the lab and really found the best version of our offense in school history.
@donaldjohnson2572 жыл бұрын
........You're exactly right my man! Brock Bowers has about three or four times as many proprioceptors as a regular human being! That's why his body is almost always positioned perfectly to catch the ball! Good call!!

Dang Murf! Don’t shed the light on us like that lol. But I agree with you 100%. I was talking with a couple of coaches after the game and we all came to the same conclusion about Georgia’s efficiency and execution on offense. You can tell they are well coached and discipline on both sides of the ball.

I have to give you credit. In the off season while everyone was saying UGA was not going to be the same team, you said they were being underestimated. Not the same team but in many ways, much more dangerous.

@@TopBillinSports I'll take it a little further. I feel the Dawgs might have more physical ability this year. I'm worried about decision making during play, and the mental toughness throughout the season. Hoping Coach Smart and his staff can keep these young man focused all season, like every game could be their last. If that happens, "Ah Hell"... If not, we could see another lack luster performance like last year's SEC Championship game. Keep doin' what you do... I'll keep watching and liking 👍

Top Billin' touched on my biggest complaint about Milton. He always seems to go down to the first person that touches him. In the play at 9:10, I don't even know what knocked him down. He was past the defender, and then just straight tripped over his own foot. Regarding the pass rush, it's better than it looks like if you just focus on the sack statistic. For example, against South Carolina, UGA didn't record any sacks, but had six tackles for loss and nine QB hurries. In the first three games, they've played two highly mobile quarterbacks and two teams that focus heavily on a short passing attack that doesn't leave a lot of time to get to the QB before the pass is away. The 1 sack on the season makes it seem like the defense isn't getting any penetration, but the TFL and QB hurry stats show a different story.

I'm also an Alabama guy and they've lost some of their physicality over the last 4-5 years as they've gotten more pass oriented. Can't fault the results as they've set record offensive numbers from 2018-21. But this team doesn't look to have one receiver who can threaten the defense vertically, much less three or four like they've had. If they don't get some physicality back in the offensive line I don't think they can beat this Georgia team. @@TopBillinSports Check out an old timey singer/comedian who went by the name of "Stringbean". Once you see him perform you will understand the body style of Brock Bowers. Of course Stringbean does it for the comedic effect and Bowers was born that way! But, with Brock's ability to play ball like he does, I don't care if he looks like a cross between a Platypus and Barney Fife!
