Are graduates of UAS like Odisee pale into insignificance when compare to the ones of VUB or KUL when it comes to seeking a job? Thank you Steph

I don’t think anyone is considered insignificant, but you get jobs that apply to your field and level of education. I don’t think it would make sense to apply for a job seeking phd, masters when for example you have only a bachelors degree.. you get what i mean?

How long can one stay in Belgium after graduation before going back to your home country?

Belgium allows non-European students to stay for one year after graduating to look for a job or start a company. You must find a job immediately after finishing your studies and apply for work permit/visa.

Hey Donald, i really don't know what you mean by 'post job visum' what i think you mean is work permit which in Belgium there are 3 types and each depend on what grounds you are applying for the permit.

Thank you for ur reply, what I meant was unlike some countries, as an international student, after graduation you can get like 6 months, 1 year, 18 months or 2 years to search for a job in the country. The knowledge I had about Belgium is that they don't give such privilege for international students, that is to say that immediately you finished your study, you have to return back to your country.

What is differance between 1 year master program and 2 year master program ? :)

There is no difference just that some programs are 5 years (3 bachelor and 2 masters) and others are 4 years (3 bachelor and 1 master)

Yes ofcourse you can find a job with any diploma from Belgium because the government makes sure they put policies in place that guarantees the legitimacy of every diploma issued by any Belgian institution.. in terms of prestige KU Leuven takes this one

If you're enrolling in an English taught program then yes. The only exception is if you're from countries like; Australia, UK, USA en Canada
