STUDYING IN THE GAMBIA: "MAKE OR BREAK!?"

BarakAllahu feekum Ya Akhi, May Allah(swt) bless you and all seekers of Knowledge where ever they may be; and make your affairs easy for you. The Prophet(pbuh) in his HIKMAH decentralised the teaching of this Deen from the onset, by asking people who came to Him(pbuh) from afar and acquired some knowledge to return to their people and teach them. This is what has resulted in the spread of the Deen and Knowledge of it to all corners of the Dunya. It is pleasing that the Gambia now has Learning Institutions, where one can acquire Islamic Knowledge from. Alhamdulillah.

Wa feek bārak Allāh we ask Allāh to make it a beacon of knowledge here in the Gambia specifically and in Africa in general. May Allāh grant us sincerity with acquiring this knowledge, applying it within ourselves and then spreading it to others.

Can you manage with 3000/4000 pounds for a year ?

Probably not. Depending on your location rent could be half that so you’re left with 2000 for the year. If you can pay all your monthly bills out of 200 for utilities, food, transport, residency, business registration, taxes, clothing, drs, dentist, and any emergency then that would be a world record.

Not likely. The cost for foreigners is typically higher. You have to learn the ropes and that education is expensive.
