I think employer may ask you personal info when you apply for a job. But the question is that there are many types of personal info such as bank account number, social security number, credit card number, contact numbers, address, date of birth, etc there are more. Which of the above did you give when you apply for a job? I am just afraid that it will be not safe to give my personal credit card number if they ask me. Currently I am just a student so I don't know much about employment

When you cook, do you cook 3 meals at once for the whole day so you don’t need to cook 3 times a day or you cook 3 times a day? Or do you cook a lot and that’s enough for 2 days so you cook once and you can eat for 2 days with no more cooking?

I'm thinking of taking some kind of APs in my junior years...but I'm not sure if I can handle it cuz all my studies are now online since last year. I can't also handle the cold so I'm also pretty scared to go to US since there are many cold states>< but I've been learning the American curriculum n will be taking SATs so I have no choice but to go to US I think...

Hi there! I know sometimes things can be unsure but you should really think about what you want to do. Also, if you are too scared of the cold, I suggest you study in California! I currently live in San Diego and the weather is beautiful and sunny, so don't worry too much about the cold. If you don't want to go to the US, it's definitely not late to prepare to go somewhere else. Don't go to the US if you don't feel like going otherwise, it's a waste of time and money. Best of luck!

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that you are stuck in Nepal and cannot go back to Myanmar at the moment. I'm sure it must have been very hard for you! I want to attend high school with scholar so, could u plz, give me some advice relating with this question. Btw I really love ur vlogs,thanks.

Hi Ophelia, I'm sorry to hear that you can't continue your studies in Burma at the moment. That is the case for all students in Burma at the current state and many have reached out to me regarding that concern. You could continue high school in the U.S but unfortunately, I don't know much information on the process since I only came to the U.S for college. I really hope you get your answers soon and I wish you nothing but the best. I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help to you right now.

Did you do part time job or full time learning while u were in university? If u did, then I wonder how many hours a week did u work part time job and how many hours a week did u go to cc to attend classes cuz I think it depends on how many courses a student can take instead of having to attend a certain amount of classes. Did I say anything wrong?
@AlisonThazin
@AlisonThazin 9 ай бұрын
Hi there. As long as you're a f-1 student, you can only do part-time jobs and cannot go over 20 working hours a week. You do need to fulfill a certain amount of credit in order to maintain your full time status as a f-1 student. Hopefully I answered your question.

Hi there, every school application costs are different, so I would recommend you to check out their websites to learn about the fees. I do know you have to mail the application requirements to the school and that may cost extra money as well. Again, please check the ielts requirements on the school website as well. FYI, I got accepted with IELTS 6.5! I hope this helps

In the US, if a student is good at learning, can he finish a 4-year college faster? Such as finish a college in 2 or 3 years like that? Also u said u changed school 4 times for the 4 year college. I don’t understand why u need to change school. Is it impossible to attend the same college 4 years so it’s convenient and no need to change the place. Btw ur so beautiful. Whoever got ur heart is lucky.
@AlisonThazin
@AlisonThazin Жыл бұрын
I didn't change 4 times, it's actually three. First time was because I needed to transfer to complete my BAs, second time was because I couldn't afford to go to a UC school anymore so I had to switch to a state school. But before that, I had to fill out my gap months in order to still live in the states so I went back to the same cc again for a quarter.
@AlisonThazin
@AlisonThazin Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can finish the 4 year faster depending on how many classes you take a quarter/semester, it will only be more challenging. If you want to attend the same college for 4 years, please choose a 4 year university (not a community college like me). Hope this answers your questions! Thanks for watching.

In the US how many hours at most can a university student attend the class each day? Can they come to university at the weekend to attend class and self study there? If a student is sick so unable to attend the class, then can he attend the same class next day?
@AlisonThazin
@AlisonThazin 9 ай бұрын
Hi there. There is no limit as to how many hours you can attend each day, none that i know of. Students normally attend 3 to 2 classes a day depending on the class. Classes take place on the weekdays but students can self study in the university facilities during the weekend (depending on the school rules). If you’re sick, you’ll end up missing that class and you will not be able to attend that same class. The class will move on to another lecture no matter how many days u take off.
