If we are living off-campus how should we select an area which is relatively safer especially for girls. And should I wait for my AS level result before applying to the university?

There are so many groups on Facebook you can easily find info about places outside, mostly some areas that are walking distance to the uni is where students live. And yes definitely you will be applying during your A2. Also i will highly recommend to live in campus during your first year or atleast for the first sem just to get Fimilar with the place

I think if u used the 10years in doing something productive then it doesn't matter. You might have to tell them why you took this long gap and then it's upto them

In 2020 its 13th in ECCA international.ncc.metu.edu.tr/en/metu-in-world-universities-ranking

Metu ncc is a private campus with mostly international students in north cyprus and metu ankara is the public campus so metu ankara is more affordable, however metu ankara is a very huge campus with alot of students but metu ncc is small with 25 students in each class
