Thank you sir for giving such detailed information of Model Code of Conduct. According to my point of view their must be some amendment in MCC because social media is sold out and find new ways to support and promote their political parties. EC do not want MCC to be legally binded, as case in court runs for long time but for media, MCC should be legally binded. This will bring some restriction on media for promoting their favorite parties.

MCC can be made as legally binding. If EC argues that they have very less time then they can request court for the urgent hearing as like when Congress and JDS went to Supreme court for establishing the Govt and got the hearing the very next day.
