Layoffs have started in Tech companies. Lot of people are talking about it. I am aware of couple of folks who are already laid off due to inflationary issues. But not en masse. But if you mean only IT Services companies by IT companies then I am not sure if they are firing.

HCL is giving 11k permonth salary to fresher or experience person from other sectors in Lucknow, how is it sustainable. Starting salaries automatically decrease when IT companies hire in North India. This is not a good thing.

I can guess the present reason may be as , take example of you sir , you can buy a digital board from china , but can not pay off or wait to develop a digital board in your homeland , we are eager to get products from outside , while we are not sacrificing enough to develop our own .
