Stationary isn't even something that would cross my mind to save in an emergency. If all the pens I own get buried under my apartment building during a big earthquake 🤷 I'm saving the electronics and backup HDs. I have too many mugs to save them all (I collect Starbucks mugs) so I'd probably grab the nearest one.

Ahh yes! We can be so consumerist and it drives people away. I don't watch too many study channels for this reason but this video interested me. I literally made a new pencil case to keep me from taking 15 highlighters everywhere. Seeing comments talking about how someone needs more stationery or can't get any because of where they live breaks my heart. Stationery is fun to collect but people shouldn't have to feel bad for not having enough.

Having so many supplies ends up becoming stressful at some point tbh, because its heavy to carry around and switching between so many supplies is exhausting. aside from not only making people feel bad, it also just takes away from the original purpose of making nicer notes. if your only focus is to try and compete to make the best possible looking notes, how much of your time is actually devoted to learning and memorizing the material you're studying? i remember feeling like if i didn't have xyz pens, i couldn't make nice notes, or i had to wait to get things before i started properly studying. unfortunately the consumerist outlook is harmful in many ways

The pen body I usually recommend to friends that hold their pens near the tip is the Uni-ball Signo RT1. The smooth rubber grip extends almost all the way to the tip and it's very compatible with most gel refills. The pentel energel refills fit perfectly.

I used to have a huge marker, highlighter, pen, and pencil collection. I just keep a regular black ballpoint & gel pen, .5mm & 1.0mm mechanical pencil, regular wood pencil, eraser pen, black Sharpie marker and yellow Sharpie highlighter. I also have a ruler, protractor, compass, and shapes templates.

I have a very tiny pencil case as a minimal everyday carry to save weight so I sort of have to do this challenge anyway, I currently have a mechanical pencil with 2b lead, the pentel 05 pen (snap), a two color(green and blue) pen which top look like a koala, a little square rubber which fits at the end of the pens, a tiny metal folding ruler and my twsbi 580 EF nib pen (with what ever fun colors ink I’m using at the moment). I have had a blue highlight in there in the past but I don’t currently need it

I don't know about you guys, but if you highlight alot, go to Walmart and grab a pen and gear erasable highlighters, It is WORTH it. I've been using it and it's been so useful! and great colors as well, worth the 5 bucks!

if you can't get the same notebook as her, look for notebooks for a higher gsm, it's the weight of paper that determines whether your ink bleeds through or not

My preference of pen/led size is 0.7 mm, and I’m on the look out for mechanical pen bodies with a squishy grip. Unfortunately the one mentioned only sells 0.5 mm bodies😭

You should look into the Pilot Dr. Grip pens. The grip is really comfortable and it comes in both medium and fine point. The Pilot Dr. Grip pencils are comfortable to write with also, but the Center of Gravity model/collection is the only one that uses 0.7 mm lead.

I'm pretty sure all mechanical pencil lead is HB, I don't know why they would stray from the standard. It's the sketching/drawing sets where you have to care about lead hardness. Also your Sarasa has Shibas on it, not corgis.
