In causal and non causal the third sum x(2t)=y(t) when we put t=-1 ,then is X(-2) it goes past value then it is a causal signal but when you put t=1 then x(2) it will be in future value ,then it is a non causal signal .what will be the answer either causal or non causal

Good Explanation, sir. But In Time Invariant/Time variant 1. Delay - whenever delay the time we have to put (t+k) Eg. Meeting start at 10am. Suppose it is delay by one hour. Then it is 11am (10+1).

What about t= -1, -2 this is not present value that you mentioned, It is past value right ?? then it also get past value..then why y(t)=t x X(t) is causal ?

At 05:39 if we put t=-1 then the equation will become y(-1)=x(-2) and x(-2) is past value........So how is it Non-Causal?????????????

True, but that makes it past, present, and future. So it is non-causal. See: 12:35

For your third example for causal/non-causal you use the equation x(2t) then you set t=1 and therefore x(2*1) -> x(2) being a future value, but if t=-1 then x(2t) becomes a past value. So, my question is “is t always a positive interger, which by the first part of the video I would think not?” Would it be clearer to say that the system is neither causal nor non-causal?

In a system for any value if it depends on future value irrespective of whether it depends on past and present value it will be non causal. The only criteria for non causal is their should be dependency on future value.

31:30 i thought this would be Time Invariant, because y[n]+y[n-1] = 2x[n]. If that was not Time invariant, then why is y''(t)+3y'(t) = x'(t)+2x(t) time variant? could you please clarify?

In the example at 8:52 in which you tell if Only present value then the system is Causal...Isn't it a memoryless system which only depends on present values ???

Regarding the linearity , Linear systems need to satisfy both additivity and homogeneity . You need to checkout your methods.

In 2nd and 3rd questions...can we take t=-1 or -2..???? If we do so we will get past values... Why to specifically take +ve numbers when we fail at t=0?? Can't we take -ve numbers??
