5th question can be solved in easier way : 60mins - 1km difference 6mins - xkm difference. x = 6/60 = 1/10 km = 1000/10 meters = 100m. This can be applied to 6th question as well.

For question 5 u have to consider relative speed,the relative speed of the police with respect to thief is 1kmph 11kmph-10kmph,therefore police is moving towards the thief at 1kmph which when converted is 5/18 metres per second and after 6 minutes(that is 360 seconds),distance will be (5/18)*360=100metres,police is 100 metres away from the thief

In 5th question you didn't include 200m as given in question . By chance your answer is right. 10km in 1 hour =10,000 meter in 60 min SO 1000 meter in 6 min( For theif ) same for 11km in 1 hour = 11,000 m in 60 min SO 1100 m in 6 min ( For policeman) But thief is already ahead of 200m . So difference = 1200-1100 =100 This is right approach.

q4. sir can we solve it in this way too, is there any shortcomings ..----> AtoB=(7AM TO 8AM)=1hr=20km. therefore, from 7 to 9am=20+20=40km from 9 to 10 am=40+20=60km. from BtoA=8AM to 9AM=25km 9am to 10 am=25+25=50km. so, (60+50)km=110km. so they meet at 10 am.

Sir I have doubt in question number 5, because distance between thief and policeman is 200 Mtr, thief 1 KM run in 6 min and policeman 1.1 KM run in 6 min, so that difference between thief and Policeman is (200+1000)-(1100)=100mtr, but in your solution there is no mention of 200mtr , please explain again this question

Correct answer is 100 mtr. As after 6 mins the distance covered by policeman is 100 mtr more . Subtract that from 200 mtr ( gap) you will get 100 mtr as your answer!

If the values were different then answer would have been wrong. Its just coincidence that the answer was correct. Because by starting from same point their difference was 100m. But police was 100m ahead hence 200-100 = 100. But if police would have been running at 10 and thief at 11 then answer would be 300. In the end he forgot to add/deduct 200.

Sir in question no.5 the distance between the police and thief should be 200-100=100 m....ur answer is right but this should be answer because there is already a distance of 200 m between them..like for example if we initially have a distance of 300m between them then the after 6 minutes the distance between them would be 300-100=200m....

after crossing each other ,distance covered by A is 70*81 and for B is x*49(Bs=x km/h). since time will be same at time of crossing so, at crossing point : (5670/x)=(x*49/70). solve this and you will get the value of x , means B's value.
