Geat job😍 and here's something I wanna ask: Is the baby born with fetal erythroblastosis or does he/she get it by his/her first milk? I mean does its antibody cross the placenta? IgG or IgA?

It occurs when the father is Rh+, which is a dominant gene, and the mother is Rh-. During the birth of the first child her blood comes into contact with the baby’s rh+ blood which causes an immune reaction and so she develops antibodies to the Rh+ antigen (primary reaction). During the second birth, she already has the antibodies which attack the baby’s RBCs (they have the Rh+ on their surface) so the secondary reaction is much stronger. The baby’s RBCs become fragile and very easy to break down, which causes the anemia. The anemia then causes mass production of RBCs but they are released from the bone marrow prematurely in large numbers in form of the so called blasts. Also, jaundice is present bc RBC and therefore hemoglobin breaks down, which produces the yellow bilirubin.

Question: I notice the text does not have review questions at the end of each chapter. Would it be too much trouble for you to write a chapter test with T/F, M/C, short answer?

Oof, i think the chapter review already takes up a lot of time bc of the preparation. But it would be very nice!
