Greg - you're GREAT! I'd like to talk buns (not yours, of course!). lol One of my biggest pet peeves throughout most of my adult BBQ life deals with hamburger buns. While this might sound a little odd, I am so tired of the bun literally dissolving as I attempt to devour the burger. I'm left with a drippy mush-of-a-bun that cannot hold the meat. Half way through, either the meat, or other toppings seem to slide out the back end, or the top and bottom become "disconnected". I have tried every locally available "name brand" bun there is, and most yield the same disappointing result. Many buns these days are gigantic! While they might help sop-up some of the juices, the whole bread-to-meat ratio is totally upset. Don't forget, that the starring role of any burger is the meat. Supporting roles are the condiments, followed lastly, by the lowly bun, which may as well be the "gaffer" in movie lingo. I have made some very acceptable bun choices locally from a "baked in store" selection which are pretty damn good - but only available locally (in Canada). Greg - since the bun is such an integral part of the burger, do you think you could dedicate an entire segment to "The Bun"? Thanks!
