Ingredients:
1 box of lasagna noodles (about 18 noodles)
4 cups tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella
(For Filling):
2 pounds of ricotta cheese (3 cups)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1 large egg
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
1. Boil the lasagna noodles until al dente, about 7 minutes.
2. Drain and set aside.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
4. Combine the ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella, egg, parsley, basil, and garlic powder.
5. Lay a lasagna noodle down and spoon the cheese mixture down its length.
6. Roll it up, starting with the end nearest to you.
7. Place the roll into a baking dish whose bottom is covered with a layer of sauce.
8. Repeat until all the noodles are done.
9. Put sauce on top and then sprinkle the 1 cup of mozzarella.
10. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
11. Uncover, turn the heat up to 400 degrees, and cook until the cheese starts to brown, about 15 minutes.
