I can not tell you how excited I am for the XR parts. I have three fully built XR's, with bad BMS. From Awesome to Bricks. AS you know, FM does not sell parts. Used BMS's are running around $270-$300. Eventually, I will VESC my own board, and hopefully using your parts. I appreciate you acknowledging Jeff and his patent. I do truly believe the direction FM is taking, is nothing but catch up. Competition is good. Another point is how many of FM patents are actually valid? Prior art much? Anyway, keep up the great work, these videos, while technical for some, are very important to those of us that work on these awesome machines. WTF is the most elegant rail, licensing agreement perhaps??? All the best.

I just had a good chuckle. Seriously though. We've grown so much as riders that we want something else that FM can't provide. That's where Tony comes in. FM no doubt looks good to new comers and people looking to get into the sport. The riders that dive deep and get addicted eventually convert to VESC once you learn the grass is greener on the other side.

well i guess the one good thing is i think the only major change to the V2 from what i have been able to tell is just the BMS (i very well could be 100% wrong) so all the other development on the other parts of the board should theoretically be completed already for the V1 making it a pretty quick process once the BMS is finished. the money is burning a hole in my pocket too, been a couple times when i have thought about just walking downtown and grabbing a new GT but so far im holding strong. would be nice to get some sort of realistic timeline though.

yep it will work with any charge only bms, 20S maximum input voltage for them ESC

Will pintV kit allow the use of an ultra charger worry free? Damn thing fried my BMS, thought that since it's the same as an xr charger it would've been fine.

I hope you can also release "body" kits for pint owners to convert their Pint X/S to an XR-like build. Like use the Pint's wheel, battery and control box and put it to an XR rails. Or maybe just a custom XR box that can fit the electonic board and battery from the pint would be awesome. This is for the pint owners in SEA region and can't sell their pint board or cannot find a used XR. I really want that slim and wide board XR but I can only see used pints in the marketplace.

Tony, i (we) did the thing you said don't bother to do where you put a GTS stator in the GT-V 😬 initially with your default (GT) tune, it's very stiff (different windings, we kno lol) after long tweaking/tuning it's better, but can you Please make a more optimal default tune for us GTS stator guys❓️🙏🏾🙏🏾⚡️🙌🏾⚡️👀
