The artillery killed itself with splash damage. It also has blind spots that the technicians can get into. Two flame tanks could have handed the victory to the technicians if they'd friendly fired eachother trying to burn the horde of techies.

I would love to see 100 Yuri Brutes smash 1000 Technicians dead. Considering how god awful And useless their damage output is. Also certain artillery units In the older titles have light armour so the technicians their pistols can actually scratch them :P

Flamethrower has armor, arty does not. The technicians pistol damage gets rounded down to 0 in the case of the former.

Dinosaurs are only vulnerable to Obelisk lasers and missile-based attacks. Everything else just scratches them...so a single Velociraptor will absolutely slaughter hordes of Minigunners with ease.

Well, the final funpark mission plays this trope straight. There are three paths into the Nod base, and two of them are guarded by Obelisks and full detachments of units. The last one is only manned by a few infantry and vehicles....

Tiberium is extremely unstable. In c&c 2 there's a mission where you have to take advantage of that and you can use blue tiberium fields as makeshift bombs.

The actual Russian military just got its ass handed to it by infantry with missile launchers, mostly due to bad unit micro. Apparently RA is a pretty accurate representation of real Russian tactics.

Been a long time since I played the entire campaign to completion, but I recall them appearing in a couple of missions set in towns overrun by tiberium close to the end of the game. I believe they were only mentioned by name by the GDI but probably appeared in NOD missions as well.

OMG the techies actually won something!! I'm quite staggered actually. Is it possible to do game cross-overs, like pitching 250 TD artillery against 250 RA ones? Expect most RA units would beat most of their TD counterparts but you never know...

@@StuGames You could try the Dawn of the Tiberian Age mod for TS; it's a cross-over between TD and RA1. Though some re-balancing must've been done, I'm sure. But it does a have a "classic mode" somewhere as an option... I think it was in the skirmish lobby...

Technician pistols actually do damage against infantry units and vehicles with light armor. It's only heavy armor that they do jack shit against.

The dream is a sort of Age Of Empires / Civilization /Hearts Of Iron type game for C&C. So you go up and AGE and your units / buildings upgrade and you get new Tech tree. But it means fixing rules discrepancies - in hindsight the C&C building radius is unfair. So the stuff from WWII should be equal or worse to its equivalent in C&C - better internals / chemicals / electronic sights, OR they get cheaper with obsolescence OR moving from a WWII economy to a 90s economy means stuff gets more expensive but has other social buffs.

Which he doesn't have much. So, it won't be finished any time soon. Unless somebody who knows how to make focuses in HoI4 joins.

Technicians are not free, you can see that if you sell them at a sandbag. If I remember correctly you get $10 wenn you sell a technician? So the normal price should be $20.

@Laura Allard I have not played the remaster yet, but game mechanics are identical for remaster and original. The glitch just shows that technicians have a price that is coded into the game.

@@ABW941 not sure about Red Alert but in Tib Dawn the tank ai will always try to run over your infantry if they can. Same with their infantry they'll micro like a god to ensure they don't get run over

I don't understand how the Mammoth tanks lost to the tesla coils in a previous video, but the bikes beat the advanced guard towers... Advanced guard towers must suck...

They do, because these rockets are very inaccurate so they may hit another target or the ground. So there were lot of damaged vehicles but not too many destroyed. Also bikes got lighter armor than tanks, but at least some armor and these rockets are mainly anti infantry. Also getting right next to the tower is their blind spot as they need to hit from certain distance, which doesn't play factor here, but if you pick them one by one in missions, just get close.

I wonder how make different result if the tanks are using the move over tactic against the infantry units and not just stopping and waiting for shooting by a rocket. Actually the AI is doing this in the game, but I almost never seen it your videos. But still like these comparsions! Great work! :)

In several of those battles, the primary victory factor was the bad pathfinding of that game engine. It got really good in Red Alert 2 though.
