Keep the videos coming if you can really enjoy them.

Thanks- I am considering what to do next (and how much more to do). I enjoy the game and will play more, but doing the videos is fairly time consuming, which is why I try to gauge how many people are watching and interested to help determine how much content I'll do for the game.

That's what I thought, glad I was right for once (although I never did use it). Thanks.

Hello, On West Approach and North Approach, why didn't the two unengaged bandits attack the plane? I'd agree if the two unengaged aircraft were Bogeys, but in our case they're Bandits.

It's been a while but I'd assume I just screwed it up.

@@HexedAndCountered Thanks, I'm just finishing translating the game into French and I don't want to make any mistakes in understanding.

If you pull a scramble, that's it. No other targets that day unless you already had a secondary (page 23, preflight). Also, you get 2 bogeys, there are no draws for bogey/no bogey (page 24 - it's not clear, but that's how it works in other leader games) and you automatically start in the east approaches then randomly determine where the bogeys are.

YA. I am afraid that information could be clearer.

Well, the objective says draw two bogeys, you take two bogeys out since it is an objective. You do not draw no bogeys.

Thanks, that makes sense - I think Winston pointed that out too as being covered on pages 23-24 of the rule book.

When does a Stuka get to use his rear gunner? Also what does the [9] mean and how is it used?
@HexedAndCountered Жыл бұрын
See page 35 of the rules under "Gunner/Turret Attacks." When a bogey is attacking a Stuka, the rear gunner can fire if the bogey is advantaged or tailing. The 9 in brackets is the number needed to hit. Note that you can't attack an enemy with a Stuka, they have to be attacking you and as mentioned above, have to be either advantaged or tailing the Stuka for the rear gunner to have a shot.

At the beginning of this first card pull, you pointed to the five and said that’s the number of bogeys. That is incorrect. It shows the number of friendly aircraft you can use on the mission.

Thanks - I did realize that later on, not sure if that made it into the video until later.

I figured it was just a slip of the tongue. He'd explained card layouts before and, as I do, just had a brain fart. During mission setup it was all good.

I believe your attack against the Stuka was not totally correct. After the enemy fighter maneuvers, the Stuka fires defensively if in the proper position. After the enemy fighter fires, they become unengaged. In the slow pilot phase, the Stuka is not allowed to engage an enemy aircraft.

To be honest that part confused the hell out of me. It's not covered in the dogfighting section but instead is in the Sites & Bandits attack section on pg. 35 - there I can see what you're saying. I missed that when playing. Thanks for pointing that out.
