Added a new camera out the left wing to view bomb drop from this perspective also.

Super cool Tom! Watching the videos will help determine the drop time 👍👍👍👍

btw, the reference to the "pickle barrel" is from the Nordon bombsite companies claim that a B-17 with the nordon installed could put a 500lb bomb into a pickle barrel from 30,000ft!

Why do I have a sense that I’ll see this in action in September??? BTW very nicely done 😉

Great bombing runs. Love the 100kg bombs all sticking up. Is there a bombing approach into the dive that can keep the target in view the whole time till the drop?

They don't always stick up Robert. I stuck two of the 4 that way so that you could see them better in the picture. From the "legal" limit of 400ft in the US, there is not much you can do to keep the target in view all the time. Technically with a 1/7 scale model, such as this, you are starting your dive at the drop point of the full scale! (~2000ft)

Have you tried rolling into the dive to help line up on the target. It puts the target in your line of sight longer and before you start losing altitude

This is approximately a 1 / 7.5 scale model. The full scale aircraft started its roll around 15000 ft and release the bomb between 3,000 and 2000 ft with this model being a 1 / 7.5 scale model I would have to start the dive at 2000 ft and release the bomb at 300 ft. Legally I'm only allowed to start the dive at 400 ft according to the FAA. Therefore I don't have the time to roll into the dive as I only have about two and a half seconds from 400 feet to drop the bomb and pull out safely at the speed I am traveling
