I can`t tell why exactly, but the combination of this video and this song with these lyrics is like… just mindblowing. I mean it makes you feel nostalgic about past moments of your life, even if you never experienced them. It makes you long for something you feel like you`ve lost although you actually never had it. Dolores Park! I am born in raised in San Francisco. I lived nearby several times to this park. Last time at 18th and Lexington near Valencia. I have mixed feelings about my hometown. Growing up there as a teen in the 80s, 20 something in the 90s it was amazing. Years of being a heroin addict and having literally over a hundred friends die on these streets, the gentrification and now the city abandoning poor, working class and the unhoused and addicted. Hipsters and techies and fake progressives. Sad. Like this song. RIP The City. 😢
