@walyll0 Sorry man but that aint a KG blade. That is a v-blade shear. A KG blade just angles to one side. KG was a brand name blade. We had many of both when i worked for Internation Paper. V-blades worked better but were heavy as hell.

I've run v cutters my hole life and they are some the coolest things to run never got use to the kg cutter have to sharpen them to much and yes the stumps stay in the ground u can re plant this land or turn it in to pasture cut hay off it next year

Ok, so a couple of questions. The purpose is to leave the stumps in the ground? And then you would use another machine with a straight blade to clean up? I guess I don't understand

Id love to have one for stumps wouldent recomend geting a newer machean and using a cuter taking down trees u know you would end up lawing trees across the dozer breaking exaust manafold on that cat would be bad day

If you leave the stumps in the ground and plant it as a pasture, common sense would say you're going to have a bunch of holes in the ground years from now from rotten stumps. That dog wont hunt!

+Mark A the tree root will root gradually -- better to have indentions over time than a stump sticking out where you can't do anything

Hi, Folks. I guess I musta missed sumpin here 'cos I just plain cain't see where that arrangement comes anywhere near what I could achieve with the same tractor with a standard semi-U blade or - even better - a good root rake. And I'm with smith dowie below, - the tractor has a decelerator and it is there for a reason. Why not use it???????? Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
