Thanks for posting these "Stump the Stars" kinescopes; they're all great fun ( and the Chex cereal commercials with Lee Goodman are an extra bonus ). Mike Stokey brought the show back for the 1969-1970 season on a five-day-a-week "strip" syndication basis. This version featured Deanna Lund, Roger C. Carmel and Dick Patterson as regulars and was seen in Southern California on KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles. Do any tapes/kines exist of this updated version..? It's doubtful since videotape was reused frequently in those days.

Around 8 years years ago, one episode from the 1969-70 season appeared on ebay. I believe it was a U-matic videotape. I lost out on the bidding.

The movie, PT 109, was completed and premiered in June, 1963, about 5 months before JFK was assassinated in November, 1963.
