I got my mullet link from you guys. $60, free shipping and arrived in just a couple of days. Stoked! Install was simple. The mullet setup to me has a very natural feel and just gets along better than the 29 rear. I'm on an S3 SWorks and I'm about 5'7" and it's better in pretty much every way from I've experienced. I haven't found any need to tweak any shock settings and continue to run my Evo in the low/long rear with the HA in the middle.

How's the suspension progression feeling?? Cascade Components says the mullet link from S reduces the progression of the Stumpy Evo...
@thenbuck93 жыл бұрын
@@macrio5 I haven’t noticed any difference. On forums I’ve read a lot of people say that. Many of them also have swapped various shocks with mixed results. I’m finding that the tune on the dpx2 is pretty darn good.

I bought the link from you guys, great price and quick shipping, thank you👍🏻. I converted my 2022 EVO Expert to a mullet, at 5'6" I wanted more butt clearance, it worked, the bike does seem more playful and turns into corners quicker. The change in gear ratio due to the smaller wheel can be nice on really steep stuff. The only con I noticed it does get hung up more on square edges than the 29er wheel. I'm going to switch back to 29er just to confirm my findings.

Hi Amandio, unfortunately they are not. At this time, for that frame, you'd have to do your own mullet conversion, which does create some of the issues I mentioned in the video. Thanks for watching - Dan at Fanatik

Any recommendations on a aftermarket headset upgrade the the 2022 stumpy evo? Looking for upgrade.
@FanatikBikeCo2 жыл бұрын
So with the stumpy evo you have the adjustable headset and unfortunately the stock cups and bearings are your only option. You can always purchase new bearings when the current ones run out, but no aftermarket headset options on the stumpy evo

Very cool product. You mean for 60 dollars for the link, I could attach a 27.5 wheel, possibly with a better hub than stock, and like have 2 bikes in one? Do you know what the change in geo will be? How much shorter will be the chainstay? And BB height? It would be helpful if you know the exact numbers! Thanks!

Hell yeah! Been waiting for this review! LETS GO!!!! Also yeah, I'd love to buy one of these frames in S4 or S5 (is S5 too long for what is supposed to be a poppy playful bike for someone who's 5'11" but with really long arms?)
@FanatikBikeCo3 жыл бұрын
I'm 5'10 and ride the S3, so I guess my recommendation would be the S4, especially since you're looking for something more playful. My arm-span is also 5'10", for some more context. @@stevenparisi Totally, not a small purchase. Unfortunately it is the way things are right now. One *potential* option that would be better than the insurance rate of a credit card would be to use the Affirm payment method in checkout.
