You still planning on doing the mashup on all the kilts? Thanks for your reviews.

Steve, would you consider a review of kilts "in the field," like at work, on the trail, in the garden? A kilts in action video demonstrating what you call abuse.

Sure I would!

STK makes an awesome kilt...I have four of them. I would like to try a Kiltman Kilt, but their production seems to have ceased.

I'll have to check into that. I noticed they added a new color option to the website.

Kiltman is up and running again. I think you'll find they can go to to toe with Stumptown and come out on top

Hey man, great review. I'm looking to buy my first kilt, is there a way I could ask you some questions about the ones you have? Like sizing, wear time, where you sit them on your hips, pricing, etc. I could really use a recommendation. Do you have an email address or something I can write you about my doubts? Thanks a lot man, keep up the great work

If it were me buying my first kilt I'd go with Kiltman. Their kilt sits on the hips like a pair of jeans and the pricing is great considering the quality and features you get. Sizing depends on the company and they all list how to measure on the websites. Some go off jean size, others go off your actual waist measurement so make sure you check. I usually size up. I measure 37" but order a size 38 in the ones that go off actual measurements. In Kiltman I size up one over my jean size. If you are looking for an inexpensive kilt that still holds up extremely well then I'd go with the Ut kilt deluxe kilt. They sit a little higher than the Kiltman (around the navel), but they are durable, light weight and comfortable. I currently own UTkilts (4 of them because of pricing and I'm reviewing them soon), Kiltman, Stumptown, Utilikilt, Angry Bastard, Sportkilt and tactikilt. My 3 favorites are Utilikilt, Angry Bastard and Kiltman. I honestly can't choose which I like better, it just depends on what I'm doing that day. Each manufacturer has their own strengths and you can't go wrong with any of them. I'll have a couple more reviews up this week that may answer more questions for you. I like to wear a kilt for at least six months before reviewing it so I know for sure how they hold up. That's why it takes so long between videos. Nobody is donating kilts to review so I have to wait to make a purchase first.

Thank you for the pocket demo. It is what I was wondering about.

I should probably ask this on the kiltman review but do you know if he is still making pockets?
@kiltedandbearded68955 жыл бұрын
Yes, Kiltman is still making pockets.

Awesome thanks for the info, i am currently undecided between this and the pubkilt, but whenever i check the kiltman website all the pockets except the original are sold out. Wasn't too sure if they were made to order or not but i figured I'd ask you to help boost your channel in the algorithm a little

It's a hard decision been Kiltman and Stumptown, they are razor close. I've had the Pub kilt for three years and it's my favorite kilt, it fits me better personally. Stumptown has advantages is some areas and Kiltman has advantages in the other, so it comes down to personal preference. If I could only have just one kilt for the rest of my life though, it would be the pub Kilt.

I like the the adjustability for the waist size. I think IWB would be feasible with this kilt. Thanks again!

Love my STK. I use military moly pouches instead of the pockets. These kilts are every bit as good as Utilikilt and are made in the USA like Utilikilt.
