Beautiful old house built in 1900, incredible fireplaces and woodwork along the stairs. Lots of pretty old doors and a cool old key still in the door. Sadly a large housing development is planned in the location of the house. Thanks for watching like and comment and subscribe if you enjoyed! Have some cool ones on the way!

Here in South Africa, not many abandoned homes would stay that way for long. Too many squatters here by far. The problem is that they wouldn't be maintained either.

That house holds lots of mysteries! Wow! I believe that there was still a lost room upstairs! It was obvious the room was partitioned in the pink room and then the bathroom wasn't big enough to complete the room. There was some lost space there! Then the steps that went to a separate attic room! The antique shoes, books for 1937 and the glasses! I hate seeing those antiques get left to be destroyed and lost to history! The doorknobs were beautiful. The built-ins and pocket doors! Even the carving on the newel post matched the carving on the front parlor fireplace mantel! A beautiful home, thanks Kappy!

Thank you, Kappy! Thank you for memorializing these beautiful properties before they are gone forever. The memories in that house! I’m wondering if the stack of several long narrow boxes in the attic (underneath the glasses you picked up) might be rolls of player piano music. Just curious. The old shoes, glasses, lamp, just all of it is amazing. It would be fun if you would walk up and down the stairs while holding your camera. It’s almost like we are right there with you! Beautiful house! I loved the kitchen built-in cabinets, the old hardware, the woodwork along the stairs and the door frames. I had to laugh at the green lamp stored at the top of the narrow staircase...I thought it was a face until I realized that the "eyes" were the empty spaces created by the handles! Lol. I wonder if the pink room and the upstairs bathroom were at one time connected. It seems to me that it should have been one larger room. I would have liked to look at that old magazine from 1929. I wonder how the basement got flooded like that. I hope they aren't putting a new development in a flood-zone. Such a shame that this house will be destroyed, since it is still structurally sound. Thanks for the tour, Kappy! As usual, you did an awesome job!

This is one of the prettiest houses I've seen I imagine back when it was occupied they probably had a sump pump in the basement to prevent water building up like that. The lady who owned this kept a tidy house back when she was able everything was put away in a neat way. That attic..Wow what a treasure trove obviously from the metal doll house there was a little girl who lived here at one time. All those antique boots and granny glasses guessing at the beginning there was a Granma who lived here too. I'd say it was still salvageable after having all that water pumped out and refinished. I definately have trim envy with this one! Even the closet doors had such detail. Saw the oil tank outside. Can’t even begin to imagine how much it would cost to heat that place today. Thanks so much for sharing. Keep cool.

This is a beauty. What a shame no one would take it on. I hate to think it is set to be destroyed so they can build the new garbage. Nothing built could compare to the old craftmanship put into this house. Excellent share.

Very interesting house. A hallway upstairs!!! That's just crazy but I like it lol. Lots of interesting stuff in it too, not just the beautiful woodwork. I hope someone can salvage the good stuff from here.

I hope they let any antique dealer come thru first, and then let salvagers take some of that woodwork! Love these videos. Make me wish I had a lot of money!

that house should not be torn down. its honestly in not that bad of shape amd once the basement was pumped if it had water issues could be addressed. the secret room was so cool! it def should be fixed up and sold to someone even if the new development was built alongside it, even though the nicest new house is no match for it in my opnion! the antique shoes amd glasses and vase in the secret room!! just love!

Land developers made the owners an offer they couldn't refuse. This house is absolutely livable once the basement is drained and the interior is cleaned out.

Wish I could buy it as well! Land developers. Poo!!! Tear down a beautiful home and put up a bunch of worthless houses! Makes me mad as a hornet. They could build around it or something. There's not a price I couldn't refuse to have a home like this! As the old song goes... They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. I'm telling my age now LOL. Bless everyone!

Old player piano rolls in the attic. They are worth a few bucks. I bought some off of EBay. This house does not look like it has been vacant that long. The rooms look pretty freshly painted. Nice old home. You find some really nice properties. Thank you for what you do.

Such a beautiful old house. Good bones! I love the old white frame houses. I grew up in one and grandparents on both sides had one. They were all interesting in different ways. Thank you Kappy..

I kept wondering what was wrong with that house, it seemed in really good condition. And then you showed us the basement. There you go. Up in the attic there was a whole stack of antique player piano rolls under those old eye glasses and vase. Man, I would love to look at those up close! Lots of cool door knobs and fixtures in this place! So much good woodwork!

A beautiful house, I hate to see it torn down, and the beautiful trees cut down, it'd be nice if Salvage Dogs or someone could remove the hardware and old hanging lights before its torn down. There's not going to be any land left or old homes if the developers keep buying it all. Someday they'll probably build over the cemeteries and CW Battlefields too. Thanks for sharing the sweet old place. I'd love to have the old journal and 36 yearbook that was in the attic. Have a great rest of your week. 😊🌹🌻

Hey Kappy. Those long narrow boxes up in the 2nd attic that had the spectacles on them contained player piano rolls. You put them in a player piano and pump the pedals and the piano would play a tune. A very cool find!

Sad to see this be torn down to make way for more cookie cutter houses .This old home has more style and character than you will see in houses built today . They should give the home away for free to be moved and put on a new foundation rather than be torn down . Just love the wood work and the front porch and the big open rooms . Shame to see all of this quality go to waste. Great video as always Kappy !! 👍👍
