not sure, just don't use it near government buildings and restricted areas.

They are not strict bringing a drone in but CHECK IT THROUGH. I highly doubt they will allow you to have it on carry on. They took away a small roll of tape I had, Air India. And DONT fly near government buildings! Police will be dispatched.....

Oh my god..... India is like heaven on one side and hell on other side. Highly poluted may be because highly populated. 4 yrs back i visited india , from start to end of my journey i have seen scamsters more than the beauty of india.....it was a 1 week trip. Except one taxidriver and bishops all we met were scamsters, few were asking money from us, few were trying to impose fake taxes , and many used to ask more money on goods (like 10 times the original money). My friend spent 8 dollar to buy a keychain😑, damn.

I heard from a guy who's Phantom 4 was confiscated by customs at Ahemdabad. Can they prohibit to import a drone by law or charge you duty officially? Heard of a new declaration form of prohibited and dutiable items since spring this year where it asks if you carry a drone. Which airports did you use and what kind of papers did you bring? Have you ever got in trouble with security or police?

Milan Hoppe You can buy from Amazon India when you arrive here. That way you don't need to worry about paper work. In general, drones are not very welcomed by any government these days due to obvious security issues. Hope it helps.
